Support PACE

Gifts to the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence Fund are used to purchase, maintain, and repair the specialized equipment used by seniors and people living with cancer, heart disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), and spinal cord injuries.

Along with achieving their health and wellness goals, community members provide invaluable intergenerational and experiential learning experiences to more than 200 students each term, and  participate in studies by McMaster researchers that advance scientific discovery and knowledge.

Sponsors can also support PACE’s two annual fundraisers that bring together community members and their families, along with our students, staff, researchers, and PACE partners and supporters.

The Race for PACE (formerly the Walk of Life for Cardiac Rehabilitation) is held each May at our facility on McMaster University campus. This event raises funds to support the operations of our esteemed community exercise programs (MacCariac Rehabilitation, MacWarrior, MacSenior, MacMS-FITT, and MacWheeler).

The McMaster PACE Charity Gala supports the specialized “neuro-gym” used by community members in our MacWheelers and MacMS-FITT programs. The gala is held each Novemeber at Liuna Station and features a dinner, silent auction, and raffle.

Should you have any questions regarding further support to McMaster, please email giving@mcmaster.ca or call the Alumni Advancement Office at 905-525-9140 ext. 24224.
