Support PACE
Gifts to the Physical Activity Centre of Excellence Fund are used to purchase, maintain, and repair the specialized equipment used by seniors and people living with cancer, heart disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), and spinal cord injuries.
Along with achieving their health and wellness goals, community members provide invaluable intergenerational and experiential learning experiences to more than 200 students each term, and participate in studies by McMaster researchers that advance scientific discovery and knowledge.
Sponsors can also support PACE’s two annual fundraisers that bring together community members and their families, along with our students, staff, researchers, and PACE partners and supporters.
The Walk of Life for Cardiac Rehabilitation is a national event held each May in partnership with the Cardiac Health Foundation of Canada. PACE and more than 40 other cardiac rehabilitation programs host local events across Canada to raise funds for prevention, education and cardiovascular rehabilitation. The Walk for Life raises funds for our cardiac rehabilitation group, which has been meeting at the university for more than 40 years
The PACE Charity Gala supports the specialized “neuro-gym” used by community members in our MacWheelers and MacMS-FITT programs. The gala features a dinner, dance, silent auction, and raffle.
