Gait & Balance G&B Physiotherapy Rates

Our Gait & Balance Program at PACE offers physiotherapy services for adults living with neurological conditions. Community members have access to one-of-a-kind specialized gait training equipment, including body-weight support treadmills that coordinate posture and locomotion to allow for an experience of walking in a safe and dynamic environment, a robotic assistive walking device that facilitates a physiological gait pattern, and a ZeroG over ground walking system that allows for gait and balance training and functional strengthening that are not possible or safe to perform in an over ground environment. Our physiotherapists guide treatment based on each client’s medical history, fitness, and goals to ensure each session is individualized.

Physiotherapy Treatment

Our physiotherapists can address a range of orthopedic concerns including pain, arthritis, new or chronic musculoskeletal injuries, pre-habilitation to prepare for joint replacement surgery, rehabilitation following surgery, and specific return to activity goals.

Exercise Consultation

Our physiotherapists offer customized exercise consultation and prescription, which is ideal for community members who live at a distance from McMaster. Following an assessment and consultation with our physiotherapist, community members can take their new exercise program ‘to go’.
