The ADAPT Program at the Pulse Fitness Centre offers an excellent alternative designed to provide accessible and inclusive fitness opportunities for community participants. The Adults with Disabilities Assisted Physical Training (ADAPT) Program is a one-on-one fitness program for individuals with disabilities at the Pulse. ADAPT pairs clients with student volunteers who will provide assistance with workouts suited to the client’s unique needs. The program was designed to make the gym more accessible and reduce any barriers that one may face.

Warm up before you tee up

In this 10 minute video, PACE Physiotherapist Marianne Longo steps you through movements to help you warm up before hitting the golf course. Warm up focuses on shoulders and hips. Light use of a club is demonstrated in some movements. Try these movements before your next round and feel the difference!
