ARISE

 

PACE has partnered with Neuro-Mod, a McMaster University-based health technology company, to offer ARISE (Augmented Reality Integrated Sensorimotor Exercise), an innovative rehabilitation platform designed for individuals experiencing neck impairments, vestibular/ balance issues, or those looking to improve mobility and movement confidence.

 

                       

 

Using lightweight augmented reality glasses, ARISE guides users through interactive rehabilitation exercises that adapt to their abilities and track progress in real time. The system transforms traditional rehabilitation into an engaging, game-like experience while providing objective feedback on performance and improvement.

ARISE can be used in two ways:

1. Individualized In-Clinic Sessions: Work directly with a PACE clinician using personalized AR-based rehabilitation programs.

2. At-Home Equipment Rental: Take the device home and complete your exercises independently while remaining under the remote supervision of a PACE physiotherapist, allowing you to continue your rehabilitation between clinic visits. Please note that the device rental and remote supervision are intended to support your rehabilitation, and are not considered physiotherapy treatment sessions.

Individualized Sessions: 

  • Assessment (60-minutes): $165
  • 30 minute Treatment: $110
  • 45-minute Treatment: $150
  • 60-minute Treatment: $190

At-Home Equipment Rental:

  • $300/month
  • Includes equipment rental and two (2) 15-minute, virtual check-ins with a physiotherapist
